1. Moisturizing.
Always start with a clean face and neck, i wash my face with Biore Scrub Face Wash with extract Orange. Been years wearing this.
Apply moisturizers ( i used Clarins Line Prevention Multi-Active Day Lotion SPF 15) and let it absorb to your skin for 2 minutes, with Clarins i assumed its ready when my skin is thight. Then i sprayed MAC Charged Water and let it dry instantly.
Especially for my undereye area i used MAC Fast Response Eye Cream.
2. Foundation.
For me, Concealer always comes first. I dab 3 little dot my undereye area with MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC 30, the effect of Fast Response Eye Cream makes it glides and blend perfectly.
Use your back hand and pump 2 times your liquid foundation, mine is MAC Mineralize Satin Finish SPF 15 in NC 25. Using foundation brush, take a little dot in a forehead, top of your nose and chin, several dots on your cheek each side and your neck. Brush only for one direction (i usually doing it side by side on the forehead, and up down in the cheek), and blend it on with a hand kabuki brush (i still haven’t got the right kabuki brushes for this, i used the one i got for free from Ciel Mineral, but i think i have to change it into synthetic one, while MAC 182 is waaaay too expensive).
Foundation done, i still think my eyebag is very disturbing, so i applied again MAC Select Cover Up in NW 20 using a concealer brush around the eye bag.
3. Shape It!
For Contouring, i used MAC Sculpt & Shape in Sculpt/Accentuate shade. learning from Nicola (MAC MUA from Australia), here i only dust some of the darker side from the sculpt & shape into my jawline and upper cheek. If it happens you don’t have any Sculpt & Shape since they don’t belong into MAC Indonesia, you could used the darker shade of MAC Stick Foundation. Very easy.
4. Powder.
Using a thick and fluffy brush (MAC 150 -i-heart-this-frikkin-expensive-MAC-brush) i used Bodyshop Face & Body Brush, dust a powder or on me i used MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural on Medium Plus (or for more intense look, i used MAC Studio Fix Powder + Foundation). After that, i dab with sponge MAC Studio Fix NC 30 Powder into my under eye area. I need to cover my eyebag badly.
5. Blushed it On.
My Favorite part. Using MAC 129, i picked up MAC Blush On in Afterdusk, this is a Sheertone Shimmer Blush that Temptalia also used. So it has a nice gold dust reflection, a very nice combination with those mineralized products. I swirl it around my cheek until it blends with the Sculpt & Shape.
6. Eyes on YOU!
Applied Urban Decay Primer Potion into the eyelid. This product is very great it could erase all the crease that showed up. And i got some MAC Paint Pot. My favorite for daily look is Cashflow (gold) and Bare Study (champagne, i think). This goes for base color for the eyeshadow.
Right now, i really fall into the combination of MAC e/s Expensive Pink, Satin taupe and Femme Fi. Don’t forget to gave a dash of highlite on your browbone, my favorite is MAC e/s Ricepaper.
7. Liner
Eyeliner, the trickiest part. Since i do all this on my way to the office on weekdays, i always find a great trouble applying Gel Liner on my eyes. Gel liner i ussualy used Bobbi Brown in Gunmetal, MAC Fluidline Macroviolet (purple), Dipdown (brown), and HIP gel liner in Midnight Blue.
So i used the most practical one. MAC Eye Kohl in Prunella (deep dark purple). and i smudge it with cotton bud. I hate streaky lines.
8. Mascara
I swear by L’oreal Volume Shocking Mascara.
9. Eyebrow
Viva made the best pencil, just don’t forget to brush it with eyebrow brush (or you could use dry mascara). I’ll add MAC brow Set in Beguille if i want a lightest shade.
10. Lips!
I go for nude look, after i lines my lips with MAC Lip Liner in Subculture, i used Burt Bees Lipbalm in Honey (sort of Lip Primer for me, if i don’t used it, my lips get cracking in a few hours) all over my lips, and put the lipstick on, my favorite MAC Lustre Lipstick in Hug Me, and Chanel Rouge Allure in Delicate.
On party time, i’ll ad some MAC Lipglass in La La Libertine.
11. Hiiighliiight!
Highlite, i can only tell that nothing beats Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks in any colors! (Mine was Rose).
That’s it, and you’re ready to g(l)o(w)..
